Shipping policy


Orders being delivered to EU / Ireland

All orders are dispatched from the UK. Prices on goods shipped internationally are excluding VAT and may be subject to VAT & Duty upon entry into the chosen delivery country. This means that when the order reaches its destination country you may be contacted by customs on the telephone number you provided to arrange any VAT & Duty payments that may be due prior to your order being delivered.



At Strength Shop UK, we are committed to offering many different delivery services to cater for all our customers needs. If you have feedback on a recent delivery we invite you to contact us - we are always looking to improve our services wherever possible. 

Delivery Quotes

For delivery quotes please click "Calculate Shipping" in the Cart and enter your Country, County/Region and Postcode for the shipping options and prices. If your country doesn’t appear in the list, please contact support@strengthshop.co.uk for a custom quote.

Delivery Updates

If you have not received tracking details from Royal Mail, DPD or UPS and want an update on your estimated delivery date, please contact us. Please note delivery time estimates are working days only and exclude weekends, bank holidays & public holidays unless stated otherwise in the delivery option.

Ireland Customers

Please note for deliveries to Republic of Ireland, prices can be viewed in Euros (€) at strengthshop.ie. All orders are dispatched from the UK. Prices on goods shipped internationally are excluding VAT and may be subject to VAT & Duty upon entry into the chosen delivery country. This means that when the order reaches its destination country you may be contacted by customs on the telephone number you provided to arrange any VAT & Duty payments that may be due prior to your order being delivered.

Large deliveries (Pallets and DPD Freight Service)

Larger sized orders may be shipped by Pallet Courier or DPD Freight Service. For pallets shipped on a wooden pallet or by crate, we will send you an email after you have placed your order stating the following;
“As your order is fairly large it will be shipped out with our specialist pallet couriers so it will work slightly differently compared to a normal order. As the order is so large it is a kerbside drop only, the driver will not be able to dismantle the pallet or move it into any residence or building like a door to door courier can.

We'll dispatch your order as quickly as we can. The delivery will require a signature upon delivery so as soon as your order reaches the local delivery depot they will contact you on (tel number) to arrange delivery on a suitable day Monday to Friday, so please ensure this number is correct.

When they call please inform them of any issues which may cause their trucks an issue like narrow access roads, low bridges, security gates etc as this may cause a delay in receiving your order on the chosen delivery date.

If you have a specific day in mind you can let us know now by replying to this email and we'll send the details onto the couriers.

Should there be any issues with the delivery at all, or any of your contact details are not correct please let us know.”

Certain large single items are sent by DPD Freight. If this applies to your order you will receive an email stating the following;
“Due to the size/weight of your order it has been shipped out on a specialist freight service with DPD. DPD will keep you up to date with all your delivery details as best they can however this service can sometimes run into a two or three day service as some delivery depots do not have the resources to deliver this service daily.

In addition the driver may on occasion require assistance to move the parcel hence there will always have to be someone present at the delivery address when they arrive to sign for the order.

If you'd like an update on the status of your delivery at any time please let us know and we can look into it for you.”

Requesting an alternative delivery service / organising your own courier

If you do not think any of our delivery options are suitable support@strengthshop.co.uk for more options. We realise you may have had a bad experience with a stated courier and we can work with you to find a courier suitable for delivering your order. Alternatively if you wish to use your own courier this can also be organised by contacting support@strengthshop.co.uk

Delivery Terms

(a) While Strength Shop Ltd endeavours to ensure the delivery on the date which the Customer has requested, it cannot be held responsible for any loss, direct or otherwise, accruing to the Customer as a result of error or delay by Third Parties, or error on the part of the Customer.
(b) The Company cannot be held responsible for the decisions, errors or any other actions of Third Parties involved in the process of rendering the Service or Services provided by Strength Shop Ltd. The Customer agrees to indemnify Strength Shop Ltd against any consequential loss incurred to the Customer due to errors, omissions or any other actions of Strength Shop Ltd, the Customer or Third Parties.
(c) Strength Shop Ltd will not be held liable in the case of default by the Royal Mail. Royal Mail terms and conditions apply.
(d) Various options are available at checkout usually with the delivery estimate time stated. We endeavour to contact the customer to inform them of any potential delays. For orders sent via Standard Shipping under 3kg we ask that the customer allow 7 working day for UK orders and 28 working days for international orders - it is only after this time which Royal Mail will consider it lost/missing.
