Pretty impressed with these shoes. I normally lift barefoot but noticed a less grippy feel at heavier end of things. So bit the bullet and bought these.
They’re excellent and perfectly grippy and supportive too to put it in short.
In longer; I was a bit unsure when I initially tried them on that I’d got the correct size as they fit very snugly to my feet, a half size up would fit fine too and consisted swapping them out for that but after a walk round the house a bit in them I felt happy to take them into the gym. If you prefer a less snug fit then definitely half a size up.
Glad I did stick to the size I got though, I not only didn’t initially notice them on my feet when setting eveything up in the gym, I immediately noticed a much better grip on both squats and bench press that I was doing that day.
The soles are more than flexible enough yet provide very good feedback and support too and definitely grip perfectly in both lifts I tried so far.
The upper material leaves them feeling comfortable as heck yet nice and secure and part of your feet really, the two straps help a bit more with that secure feel and they do indeed feel like I’d hope barefoot shoes to feel.
What I did notice is when I took them off I kind of missed them on my feet, that’s a great sign to me just how comfortable and well designed they are.
Very happy with these and likely will be grabbing a second pair too
