Viking Press – Classic Strongman Movement, Now More Versatile

The Viking Press is a staple of Strongman shoulder training and this heavy-duty attachment brings that iconic movement to your gym or event setup. Built for both training and competition, the design has been carefully refined in collaboration with professional Strongman athletes.

The de-coupling bracket allows for maximum versatility:

  • Lock the arms together for unified pressing, mimicking traditional overhead barbell movements.
  • Or leave the bracket open and train with independent arms, challenging shoulder stability and unilateral strength.

The adjustable handle height makes it suitable for athletes of varying sizes, allowing everyone to press from a mechanically strong and safe position.

Why the Viking Press

Unlike a standard barbell press, the Viking Press keeps the resistance slightly in front of the body and follows a fixed path, making it easier on the shoulders while still demanding full upper-body power. It's a favourite in Strongman competitions because it allows heavy overhead pressing without the spinal compression associated with axial loads.

With this version’s chrome and black powder-coated finish, it delivers both performance and presentation, equally suited for gym floors or public comps.
