    Availability expected from June 2026.

The Pro 45° Hyperextension “Bulldog” is a commercial-grade 45 degree back extension bench designed for effective posterior chain training in strength gyms, functional fitness facilities, athletic training centres and high-performance home gyms.

45° hyperextensions are among the most essential strength training machines for developing the lower back, glutes and hamstrings. Whether used for back extensions, glute-focused hypers, core stability training or band-resisted posterior chain work, this machine delivers a stable and comfortable platform for athletes of all sizes.

The Bulldog represents a modern reinterpretation of the classic Roman chair / 45 degree hyperextension bench, combining durable commercial construction, compact footprint, and user-focused ergonomics. Its distinctive stance — with extended front feet and a powerful silhouette — gives the machine its name and creates a visual presence on the gym floor that resembles a sitting bulldog.

Designed for both heavy gym use and smooth day-to-day operation, the frame integrates transport wheels at the front and a knurled rear handle, allowing staff and athletes to move the machine easily when reorganising training spaces.

Comfort and functionality are central to the design. The angled split pads with a widened gap allow a natural hip position while avoiding uncomfortable pressure or pinching. This ensures comfortable use during high-volume back extension sets or heavy posterior chain work.

Rubber-coated side handles make entering and exiting the machine secure and intuitive. The pinless height adjustment system allows fast and precise setup for athletes ranging from approximately 1.60 m to well over 1.95 m, while maintaining exceptional structural stability.

For advanced training applications, the Bulldog includes front mounting holes for band pegs, enabling resistance band hyperextensions, progressive overload and variable resistance training.

With its 60 × 60 mm heavy-duty steel frame, refined ergonomics and clean aesthetics, the Pro Bulldog is built for strength gyms, powerlifting facilities, XFit boxes, athletic performance centres and demanding home gyms looking for a durable 45° hyperextension machine.

  • What exercises can be performed on the Pro Bulldog Hyperextension?

The machine is designed primarily for 45° back extensions, but it is also excellent for glute-focused hypers, posterior chain strengthening, core stability exercises and band-resisted hyperextensions.

Is the hyperextension suitable for commercial gyms?

Yes. The 3 mm thick steel frame and commercial construction make it suitable for professional gym environments, strength training facilities and athletic performance centres.

What athlete heights does the machine support?

The adjustment range has been tested for users from approximately 1.60 m up to well above 1.95 m, making it suitable for a wide range of athletes.

    Can resistance bands be attached?

Yes. The front of the frame includes mounting holes for band pegs, allowing band-resisted hyperextensions and progressive overload training.

Is the machine easy to move around the gym?

Yes. The combination of transport wheels and a knurled rear handle allows the unit to be repositioned easily despite its solid construction.
