Black chrome is not included on the IPF's list of approved finishes, so the bar is not eligible for IPF competition. The bar's name, weight and shaft diameter are laser-engraved on the inside face of the sleeve collar, so the specifications remain legible for the life of the bar, regardless of whether it is stored hanging, stacked or racked sleeve collar-first. The end cap repeats the key information at a glance.
