My lever belt wont stay closedThe lever buckle is a counter pressure lever so there has to be enough pressure on the back side of the belt pushing outwards to hold the lever in place. There is no locking mechanism. If you put the belt on and make sure it is tight when the lever is closed it will work perfectly. The lever will spring/fall open if the belt is too loose or when it is not being worn as there is no pressure on the belt.
What belt should I buy?We offer 3 different types of belts:
Double / Single Prong belts
Velcro belts are 10cm wide all the way round the belt. They offer the least amount of support out of the 3 types. The velcro belt still offers a good amount of support and is ideal for someone looking for light support or doing functional style training were they do not want the belt to feel too intrusive.
Double / Single Prong belts comes in various thickness / styles. We have a 8mm thick weightlifting belt which is perfect for weightlifters as it is 10cm wide at the rear and tapers down to 6cm at the front so the belt does not cause any discomfort when performing Olympic Weightlifting movements like snatch / clean & jerk.
We also have 10mm / 13mm double prong belts and 13mm single prong belts. These are more suited towards powerlifting / strongman / heavy gym use. These are mainly 4” wide but we do have 3” wide variations and provide unsurpassed support. 10mm is slightly more supple out the box with it being thinner so it moulds to your body quicker and can be comfier to use right away. 13mm is thicker and provides the greatest support from all our belts, the belt is more rigid and will take longer to break in to feel more comfortable but we recommend this for any serious lifter. Our prong belts are IPF Approved and have been tried / tested over the years by world class athletes.
Our Lever belts are the same as our prong belts, they are available in 10mm and 13mm thickness. These are mainly 4” wide all the way round although there are 3” wide options available. All of our lever belts now come with our Riot Steel Buckle which is made from steel and is covered by a lifetime warranty for extra peace of mind. The main advantages of the lever belt over the prong belt is that the lever is much easier to use and less effort to put on before the lift it also allows you release the pressure of the belt instantly after the lift by opening the lever, this is extremely quick and easy to do this is why it is favoured by most lifters and is our most popular style of belt. Our lever belts are IPF Approved and have been tried / tested over the years by world class athletes.
What sleeves should I buy?We offer 4 different types of sleeves:
Single Ply - These are a single layer of polyester blend material which provides light support and warmth. As they are not as restrictive they can be kept on for the duration of your session without the need to take them off between sets. Ideal for functional training, weightlifting, running, light support for day to day use.
Double Ply - These are made from two layers of polyester blend material which provides greater support and compression for the joints. These sleeves are a bit more restrictive but do allow you to lift more weight with the added support. These are great for any pressing or squatting movements. As these sleeves are very supportive some prefer to slide them down in between sets. Ideal for powerlifting, weightlifting, strongman and anyone looking for great support in the gym when going heavy.
Triple Ply - We are the first in the UK to offer triple ply sleeves, meaning our triple ply sleeves have been tried and tested for many years now and they are loved by man top strongmen and powerlifters. These are made from three layers of polyester blend material which provide the maximum support available from any sleeve, these are perfect for anyone who needs maximum support but does not want the hassle of wrapping their knees every set. These sleeves do restrict movement a bit so are best used for static lifts like bench press, log lift, squats etc… As these sleeves are very supportive some prefer to slide them down in between sets. Ideal for powerlifting, strongman or anyone who is looking for maximum support from a sleeve.
Neoprene - Our neoprene knee and elbow sleeves are 7mm in thickness and are made from a single piece of neoprene. The Inferno 7mm Neoprene Knee Sleeves are IPF Approved so can be used in competition. The support of neoprene sleeves is similar to the support of a double ply sleeve. They provide great support and warmth for the joint. Some people prefer the comfort of the neoprene over the double ply sleeves but this is mainly down to personal preference of the individual. Ideal for powerlifting, weightlifting, strongman and anyone looking for great support in the gym when going heavy.
I have received 2 of the same hand wrist wraps. What should I do?This is the way many companies supply their wrist wraps. To put the wrap on the opposite hand just wrap it around the front of your hand rather than the back.
Here is a short video of how to do it:
